Get detailed step by step instructions on how to  accept your offerOpens in new window

Acceptable methods of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or electronic check. You will receive an email confirmation once your acceptance and charge have been accepted. Please note that payments take up to 24 hours to post to your Student Account. You will receive a secondary email, to your CSUF email, once your payment has successfully posted.

NOTE: Partial payment is not accepted. If partial payment is received, it will remain on your student account and your acceptance for admission will not be confirmed until the full $250 is received.

What happens if my payment does not go through successfully?

If your payment does not successfully process, we will notify you by email. The email will be sent to your CSU Fullerton email address, which can be accessed through your   Student PortalOpens in new window. It is important to note that your acceptance will not be confirmed until you successfully pay your enrollment administrative charge.

If your payment was rejected, most likely you entered an incorrect routing number when attempting to pay by electronic check. Please check with your financial institution to get the correct number before you attempt again.

How do I know if I qualify for an Enrollment administrative charge deferral?

The Enrollment Administrative Charge will be deferred for students who meet the following criteria and will be stated in your student portal:

  • You have received a Cal State Apply application fee waiver for Fall 2024.
  • You are a recipient of a Guardian Scholars Program Scholarship, President's Scholars Program Scholarship, or an Athletic Scholarship or if you are a Veteran.
  • Undergraduate returning students.
  • You are an International student with a full government sponsorship.

If you qualify for an Enrollment Administrative Charge Deferral, it will state in your CSUF Student Portal in "Your Decsion" page within the box, next to "Deposit Deferral"  in it will say "Yes" as seen below.

What happens if I decide not to attend Cal State Fullerton after accepting my admission offer?

Please contact the Admissions Help Desk soon as possible if you have decided not to attend. If you have already registered for classes, be sure to drop all of your classes. If you were required to pay the enrollment deposit, this amount will be forfeited as the deposit is not refundable. If you choose to consider enrolling at CSU Fullerton in the future, you will need to reapply for admission and meet the admission requirements and deadlines at that time.

What else is required after I have accepted my admission?

Additional requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Official Transcripts and AP/IB/CLEP scores. Check your CSUF Student Task list.
