Congratulations!

Cal State Fullerton offers provisional admission based upon self-reported and in progress coursework as indicated on the Cal State Apply application. Provisional admissions means that our offer is contingent upon you continuing to meet all the requirements for admissions to CSUF. All applicants must maintain eligibility by successful completion of Transfer admission requirements and adhering to enrollment deadlines.

Fall Transfer Applicant Checklist

  1. Accept your offer of admission & Pay the $250 enrollment administrative charge (if applicable to you)
  2. Submit necessary documents (official transcripts & test scores) by the deadlines established in your CSUF Tasks list
    Note:  If you are admitted within two weeks of the 10/1 Final Document deadline, you will have 15 days from the date of your admission to submit the necessary documents.
  3. Register and complete CSUF Orientation 
  4. Receive Academic Advising
  5. Register for courses via CSUF Portal

Official Initial Transcripts with Fall grades posted and Spring courses in progress must be submitted from all institutions attended. Exam scores must be sent individually for credit (AP,IB,CLEP)

Financial Aid

Don't forget to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) or the California Dream Act Application (CDA). Check your CSUF student email and portal for updates on financial aid deadlines and awards.

Orientation

Online and in-person orientation is available for students. Check your CSUF email for instructions on how to register.

Housing & Residential Engagement

On-campus housing is limited and not guaranteed. Students are welcome to apply through the housing portal by completing an application and submitting the required fee.
